Setting up a new App in the Admin Console

To use the API it is assumed that you already have an AmeriCommerce account and access to the admin console. From the admin console you can set up a custom application, which is necessary for using the API. To do this, browse to Tools > Apps & Addons > API Apps & Integrations in the admin console. Click the New button and fill out the details for your new application. Upon hitting Save you will see the App ID and App Secret displayed on the screen. You will need these for the OAuth process, so it is suggested you make a note of them or at least where to find them.
